at 12:00 pm (noon) and 5:00
pm. Attendance is required
every 60 days. Peer support
is now available at case
reviews.

Volunteer Court Appointed Special Advocates (CASAs) are everyday people
who are trained and then appointed by judges to advocate for the best interests of
abused and neglected children. When a CASA volunteer is appointed to a child's case, he or she spends time with the social workers, foster parents, family, and most importantly- the child. The advocate then provides the judge with information that assists in providing a unique and heartfelt understanding of the child's needs. A CASA volunteer remains with each child
until they are placed in a safe, permanent and nurturing home.

There are numerous ways to help CASA. We have a continual
need for office help, fundraising, and other activities.
Gift of Promise
Instead of a present, give your friends or family
a Gift of Promise- a donation to Sonoma
CASA in their honor. Or, sign up for our monthly
program for $105/mo to help provide a CASA to a child.
For gifts of $50 and more, we will send the recipient
a beautiful card acknowledging your gift in their

CASA
TRAINING
Be an advocate, mentor, guide and friend to a young person, and
help those in need in a meaningful way. The CASA volunteer training
programs are scheduled quarterly in January, April, July and
October. More info.
